by raising awareness about the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena in Iraq and other Dominican Orders worldwide. We also commit to preach the Gospel through the creativity of ourselves and our classmates.

1 Rededicate our school’s emphasis on service through exploring grade-level service opportunities;
2 Use what we have learned to increase quality of our liturgies and level of student participation.

-During a monthly Dominican Day and throughout the year in liturgies and prayer services, promote the Four Dominican Pillars and their value in the modern world;
-On Dominican Study Day during Catholic Schools Week and throughout the week, host local Dominican sisters who minister to immigrants as well as Dominican sisters from Vietnam to educate our students about local and international justice issues.

1 We will bring more knowledge about the Dominican Order and act as advocates through the Order by utilizing Fenwick’s Broadcasting Club;
2 We will assist the administration in planning and celebrating the 800th anniversary of the founding of the order, beginning with an all school mass on November 10;
3 We will educate the student body on contemporary issues and encourage them to take action.

1 We will educate our school community by holding an assembly based on the Dominican charism and
2 We will plan and provide service opportunities based on the social justice teachings we learned this week.

-We will work to infuse the Dominican charism and pillars into the Regina Dominican community by creating activities and lessons one week every month during the morning advisory program;

By developing a greater awareness of the Dominican identity with an emphasis on the four pillars. We also commit to raising awareness and supporting the 2015 Dominican High Schools Preaching Conference Statement pertaining to our family in Iraq, to further educate the Sacred Heart Griffin community.

by encouraging and promoting student involvement in prayer and liturgy, social justice education, and the general education of the Dominican faith.

1 We will create a presentation on the Four Pillars to present to the faculty and the student council.
2 We plan to make a presentation to the St. Agnes community to raise awareness of the situation in Iraq.

1 Have a week dedicated to the Dominican 800th Jubilee with days devoted to the history and each pillar of Dominicans, including a campus-wide day of service
2 Have a t-shirt sale where students buy 2 shirts, one of which they keep and the other is sent to refugees overseas, in addition to any other t-shirt girls wish to donate.
We the preachers of St. Catherine High School, Racine, WI, commit to preach the Gospel in the following ways:
1 Embark on a conversation with the Dominican Schools of the Central Province in order to serve our respective communities and continue to strengthen the relationships with our Dominican Family.
2 And promote the High School Preaching Conference with the students of our school as a means of deepening the understanding of the Dominican charism.
We the preachers of St. John the Baptist High School, West Islip, NY, commit to preach the Gospel in the following ways:
1 We pledge to raise awareness about the Dominicans in Iraq through our media center, wristbands and written pamphlet.
2 We also pledge to form stronger connections with our local motherhouse, Amityville, through creating prayer partners with the retired sisters who reside there.
We the preachers of Cristo Rey St. Martin, Waukegan, IL, commit to preach the Gospel in the following ways:
-Get involved as a group in a monthly service opportunity offered by the school;
-Give a presentation during our lunch/advisory period at school that connects four pillars and a current event topic;
-Make a sign about Dominican four pillars and put it up in school;
-Make powerpoint reflections for current events that happen during the year. Project powerpoints on the cafeteria wall during the school day.
We the preachers of St. Mary’s Dominican High School, New Orleans, LA, commit to preach the Gospel in the following ways:
1 We commit to organize at least one service project for the student body which will incorporate prayer, catechesis, and cultural immersion;
2 We commit to increase mass participation by making Dominican values and scripture more relatable to the student body.
We the preachers of the Holy Preaching at St. Pius X High School, Houston, TX, commit to preach the Gospel in the following ways:
1 Through the pillar of prayer, we will enter into a prayer partnership with our own retired Dominican sisters and plan visits and activities together.
2 Through the pillar of study, we will conduct a school wide awareness program on the social issues of migration and immigration which will included guest speakers, student forums, and special veritas moments.
3 Through the pillar of community, we will observe the 800th Jubilee of the Order. We will attend the national Jubilee mass in Columbus, OH, compose and recite daily a special jubilee prayer, and include the jubilee logo on campus and on our website.
4 Through the pillar of preaching, we will continue to promote awareness and advocacy of our Dominican Family in Iraq. We will include our new solidarity statement on our web page and on our campus.
